Teta Smith, paints luminescent contemporary paintings in mixed media, watercolor, acrylic, collage, and oil with cold wax. She is known for a wide variety of subjects, from realistic portraits, mixed media works to non-representational abstracts. Teta says “I have found such joy in creating that my desire is to help others experience that joy and to receive the benefits that creating provides. Research lists a few of those benefits as stress reduction, relaxation, increased mental health, positive brain stimulation and the social benefits of a group of like minded people.”
